Dirt and Grime - Junior Danger

Artist: Junior Danger

Single: Dirt and Grime

Genre: Rock

Review by Nicole Roberts

Brisbane's Junior Danger have released a second single from their upcoming debut album, 'Dirt and Grime' and if it's a good indication of what we can expect from their forthcoming album, I'm already 100% on-board. The description I was given of if Nick Cave was into The White Stripes is pretty bag on.

The track is bluesy, dark, and has a certain gritty rock quality that I love. The gruff, seductive vocals perfectly match the hypnotic, heavy riffs. It's a dirty, hard hitting, addictive sound that will get you hooked from the get go. The entire song is strong, tempting and beguiling. It'll draw you in with its exciting, enticing sound, and will make you want more.

Want to know the band in 4 lines? The boys sum it up perfectly:

Sleaze, lust and romance Love cannot be found Fleeting moment, sideways glance The Junior Danger sound

9.5 out of 10 stars.
