All Four Members Of Decapitated Charged With Rape
After weeks of allegations and back and forth, all four members of the death metal band Decapitated have been formally charged with raping a fan. The members of the Polish band – Rafal Piotrowski, Waclaw Kieltika, Mikola Lysejko and Hubert Wiecek – were arrested on September 9, accused of first degree kidnapping and gang-raping a fan on their tour bus in Spokane, Washington. Now, the four members have been formally charged with rape after being extradited to Spokane.
Piotrowski and Kieltika have been charged with rape in the second degree, while Lysejko and Wiecek have been charged with third degree rape. All four men deny the allegations. Last month, their lawyer Steve Graham told the Spokane Review: ‘Decapitated plan to fully fight the allegations that are brought against them, and we are fully confident that the other side of this story will be heard.’
He previously claimed that they have witnesses to testify that the accuser entered the bus of her own free will and ‘left on good terms’. Their accuser alleges that she and a friend were invited onto Decapitated’s tour bus after their concert in Spokane on August 31. The woman alleges that drummer Lysejko groped her breast, making her feel uncomfortable, so she gestured to her friend that they should leave.
However, after she went to the bathroom, she was allegedly followed into the bathroom by the band members where she claimed she was raped against the sink. The woman’s friend alleges that she saw the alleged rape happen, and claims that she was left with bruising after being pushed to the floor by Piotrowski for refusing oral sex.
Decapitated are one of the most celebrated death metal bands in music, cited as one of the best examples of technical death metal.
