A Festival Called PANAMA Announce 2019 Lineup
Tasmania's A Festival Called PANAMA has announced its 2019 lineup, which will include the likes of WA art-rockers Methyl Ethel, Texan psycho-soul three-piece Khruangbin, 19-year-old pitchfork darling Snail Mail, and Californian garage-surf outfit Shannon & The Clams. Joining the band will be a healthy local variety, including Baker Boy, Kaiit, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, Mojo Juju, Kira Puru, Donny Benét, and RVG.
Special, starlit speakeasy sets are also planned for No Mono and Stella Donnelly at the festival’s intimate whisky bar
The festival has gotten a lot of recognition since inception, taking the prize in 2018 for 'Boutique Festival of the Year' at the inaugural TIO Awards and being shortlised for 'Festival of the Year' at the 2018 NLMAs
With tickets selling out within minutes in past years, make sure you get on to this one quick. The event’s super limited 1,500 tickets will go on sale to members of the PANAMA mailing list on November 13th, and remaining tickets to the public (if available) on November 20th.
