Evan Dando Announces Intimate Australian Shows
The ever-engaging Evan Dando, best known for fronting The Lemonheads, is heading to Australia for a string of intimate headlining shows. Stopping in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth this May and June, he will be marking the re-issue of his first solo LP, 2003's Baby I'm Bored.
Making his mark as one of the most iconic characters to intervene in the 90's indie rock scene, Evan Dando and The Lemonheads have been beloved by generations of grunge fans. With the experience of a career spanning three decades under his belt, Dando is ready to once again impress his devoted Australian audience.
Having toured with Juliana Hatfield, J Masics, Bill Stephenson (Descendents), and even Kate Moss and Liv Tyler, his mesmerising show has been lauded by critics and fans alike. With his perfect knack for irony, barefaced talent and undeniable 'screw it' likability, he's enchanted so many that Ben Lee even wrote a song about him, 'I Wish I Was Him'.
