Branch Arterial Announce Album & Drop New Single
Melbourne's Branch Arterial are bringing their music back to the world, announcing that they'll be releasing their debut album Beyond The Border on April 28. They've given fans a teaser with new single 'Circus' released today, which you can listen to below.
2017 sees the band coming back after battling through the traumatic experiences of bassist Kade Turner becoming involved in a motorcycle accident in South America that nearly cost him his life and vocalist Nigel Jackson battling a life threatening illness, both events leading to the boys spending extensive periods of time in hospital receiving treatments while the band went on hiatus.
The track 'Circus' actually deals with Jackson's harrowing experience dealing with his life threatening blood disease - “Feels like I'm caught beneath the ocean, feeling like I can't breath, feeling I'm in a dream.”
Recorded at Pony Music and Two Brothers Studios in Melbourne, the vocalists illness isn't the only topic on the upcoming release. Tackling an array of issues from climate change, abuse, drug addition, schizophrenia, depression and personal failure, the five-piece progressive rock act have through everything into this album, delivering a brutally honest experience. With the experience gained from touring with the likes of Dead Letter Circus, Twelve Foot Ninja, Flyleaf (USA) and Klone (France).
Beyond The Border is available April 28th.
