Rackett Release New Single 'Prey'
Sydney experminetal pop-punk group Rackett have released a new track today, revealing a playful and innocent side to their usual hard-hitting style of music. Written at Sydney's Newtown Library and recorded/produced by the renowned Dave Hammer (Megan Washington, Thundamentals, Gay Paris), the shoegaze, neopsychedelia inspired track is the third signle from their upcoming EP. The EP, Ready or Not, is scheduled for release in 2017.
2017 has been a great year for the band. Not only have they got their upcoming EP release, but they've also completed a run of shows for the legendary The Darkness on their Australian Tour. On top of this, they've graced the stage at Secret Garden Festival, The Blurst of Times, Mountain Sounds Festival, Electric Lady as well as selling out their ‘Ready or Not’ single launch. They'll also be featuring as the face of General Pants' fall/winter collection 2017.
