The EP, which was engineered/recorded by Dan Field at Skull and Bones Records, and mixed and mastered by Cody Stewart at Reforce Media, explores the dark times that nearly everybody faces at some point in life. With each track evoking a different emotion and mood, the music draws on very real, personal experiences that the band have gone through, which makes it all the more brutal and raw. The purpose is to try to reach anyone who's going through a similar situation to reassure them that they aren't alone.
Caleb Patch, guitarist of Apate wants people to know that the release is close to their hearts and that their effort and passion is evident in the record. "'Spit You Out' is Lyrically and Instrumentally our most in depth release to date. This record is our everything. It was written and recorded from a place of raw emotion. It's 2 years of our time, energy, emotion, blood, sweat and tears compiles into 7 tracks; 19 minutes of audio".
Spit You Out is out Friday 25th August on iTunes, Spotify, and all good online stores.
