The Dollar Bill Murrays Are Bowling Alley Warriors In New Video
Brisbane's own The Dollar Bill Murrays have released a follow up to their beloved sophomore EP with their playfully overdriven single 'Dancing With Death' and accompanying music video.
The single, their first release since their Always On EP was released in April 2017, see's the band harness the energy of their wild after=dark adventures for their latest offering, which was produced by Brock Weston (Bugs) at Bedlam Studios and mastered by Tyson Ruth at Studio Truth. With a playful combination of cowbell, counter licks, and an abundance of crashing cymbals and furious strumming, the track is written about those seemingly innocuous nights that pan out completely differently to how they began. A gritty dance-rock number, it encourages you to let loose and lose your daytime sensibilities.
In the accompanying music video, the four-piece get caught up in a fierce street fighter style battle with the territorial Marge 'n her hostile crew. One-by-one, the band must battle and defeat Marge in a variety of challenges to earn their right to bowl in peace.
“It's a battle for the ages... or at least for the Aspley 10 Pin Bowl - we find ourselves locked into bitter territorial combat when we step on the wrong toes at our favourite alley. Nights were made to make mistakes, but with everything on the line these ten frames and reheated hot dogs could be our last,” says the band.
